Monday morning, we went to the Church Administration building to be set apart to our new calling by Elder M. Russell Ballard, of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.  We met him on the 4th floor of the building at 10:00am.  Some of our family from Utah joined us.  We took several wonderful pictures next to the Church Administration Building.

About 1pm, we were bused down to the MTC with a dozen other new mission presidents and their wives.  The first order of business was to check in and receive our room assignment.

bulletWe arrived at the MTC around 2pm on Monday, June 25th
bulletWe were assigned to room 214 in the Jacob Hamlin building.  Every room had the name and mission assignment of the mission president
bulletSister Jensen was very excited about the luxurious accommodations.  Actually, we were very comfortable with our own bathroom, closet, etc.
bulletMy, look at all the white shirts in the lunch room!
bulletOur meetings with 105 other mission presidents and their wives were partly held in the main meeting room at the MTC, the "room of tears", where parents say good-bye to their sons and daughters every week.  The meetings were a spiritual feast, to say the least.
